Objectives
1. Establish an outdoor covered rollerskating rink with a dedicated studio stage for teaching skating fundamentals.
2. Provide a safe, controlled environment for students to learn and practice skating.
3. Foster a community of skaters and promote physical fitness and well-being.
4. Offer comprehensive facilities including a commercial kitchen, restrooms, and administrative office.

Outdoor Covered Rollerskating Rink (4,800 sq/ft)

- Adequate space for free skating and skill practice
Studio Stage (500 sq/ft)
- Capacity: Up to 15 students
- Features:
- Skate stations with handrails
- Small stage for demonstrations
- TV screens for instructional videos
- Mirrors to assist in skill development
Additional Amenities
- Commercial Kitchen: Small enclosed kitchen with storage closet
- Restrooms: Separate restrooms for men and women, and a family restroom
- Office Space: Dedicated office for administrative tasks
Project Justification
The demand for recreational and fitness activities continues to grow. Rollerskating offers a fun and effective way to stay active, improve balance, and build community. By establishing this facility, we aim to meet the needs of our community, providing a dedicated space for learning and practicing rollerskating skills safely.
Introducing the S.AF.E. Gate Center (Skate Art Fitness Evolution) Center project, dedicated to providing safe and secure outdoor skating areas in South East, South West, and Central Florida. With a growing number of individuals engaging in various forms of skating, from rollerblades and quad rollerskates to skateboards and scooters, the need for accessible and harassment-free spaces has become increasingly essential. The S.AF.E. Gate Center aims to address this issue by creating designated areas for skating enthusiasts to enjoy their activities without fear of harassment or security interference.
